MONTGOMERY COUNTY — A multi-county chase involving three vehicles ended with at least one in custody early Saturday morning.

Brookville officers initially responded around 2:57 a.m. to the 700 block of Mound Avenue on reports of suspicious activity and people breaking into vehicles, according to Brookville police.

Upon arrival, two Brookville officers located a vehicle with no headlights. When they attempted to stop the vehicle it fled.
One of the officers attempted to stop an SUV and experienced mechanical issues with his patrol car, and the SUV was able to flee.
The second officer located two other vehicles and chose to try and stop a Dodge Ram that was stolen out of the Lewisburg area.
The pick-up truck fled north of Arlington Road, then east on U.S. 40 to the intersection of U.S. 40 and SR 49.
The truck then went back west on U.S. 40, back to Arlington Rd, and west on I-70 to Indiana, where Richmond Police took over the pursuit.
According to a Facebook post from the Brookville Police Department, Richmond Police used stop sticks to stop the vehicle and are still looking for the suspects involved in the pursuit.
The third vehicle is believed to be a green Subaru that was stolen from the City of Brookville and later recovered in Trotwood.
Trotwood Police took a juvenile suspect into custody, according to Brookville police.
Police are still working to identify the rest of the individuals involved.
